One of my favorite childhood memories is visiting New York City with my mom, where we would pick out delicate marzipan fruits: sweet, nostalgic, and full of warmth. This scent is inspired by those traditional almond confections, carrying a soft marzipan aroma that feels subtly sweet, comforting, and indulgent.

A gentle, nourishing choice for sensitive skin at every stage of life, from babies with diaper rash to dry or aging skin. This tallow is made with purified, grass-fed and finished suet and thoughtfully selected ingredients to deeply support the skin barrier and lock in lasting moisture.

Sun balm is suitable for all skin types and can be used on both face and body. We recommend reapplying as needed for a 30+ SPF coverage.

As with any skin care product, a patch test is always recommended, especially for facial use or sensitive skin.

We source as much as we can from local purveyors. Our tallow is made with 100% local Pennsylvanian Grass Fed and Finished Suet. Since family is our priority we chose to use only certified organic or ingredients produced using organic practices.

Tallow has been used in skincare for centuries and is one of the closest bio-identical oils you can chose for your skin. We have chosen to use only local grass fed and finished suet which is the most nutrient dense section of fat. It is high in vitamins A, D, E and K. It also has fatty acid profile including Oleic, Stearic, Palmitic, Alpha-Linolenic (Omega-3), and Conjugated Linoleic (Omega-6).

Yes! All of our tallow products are from local grass fed and finished farms. We have chosen to only use the suet fat which is the most nutrient dense fat around the kidneys. It is also one of the cleaner, most stable and refined fats which we carefully render for purity.

Our tallow is hand-rendered and poured in small batches to preserve its integrity and ensure a consistently high-quality product.

We scent our formulations through slow infusions of organic botanicals and traditional methods like maceration, capturing a natural, nuanced aroma in every batch.

Tallow is considered a very good choice for sensitive skin and has been the go-to for many with skin conditions as it has a very similar structure to our own sebum. However, as with anything, we recommend doing a patch test.

We recommend storing at room temp for softness or in the fridge for extended life. At room temperature, we recommend using within 6-12 months.

We gently purify our tallow to remove most of the natural beefy scent, and blend it with jojoba oil to create a balm that’s very mild and close to odorless.

Because we keep our process minimal, a faint natural scent may still be noticeable to some people using our unscented balms, but it is subtle and not something most customers detect.
